Power Laces

Something else created for more lazy people lol. Inspired by “Back to the Future II” Blake Bevin decided to create her own powered lace kit for a pair of Nike shoes. I would say it’s good because it cuts time for you and you don’t have to bend over to tie your shoes but it also takes away the time and fun of teaching your child the bunny ear loops.

The power lace kit has a force sensor that recognizes the pressure of your foot in the shoe which activates the two servo motors. This tightens the shoe, and to reverse this action a touch switch is built in to reverse the servo motors.

This is nothing serious other than a test ran by Blake on one shoe. But hopes of Nike picking it up is on her wish list and secretly mine.
